Here is Hank's first tip for keeping our stuff safe.
When you buy anything of value whether it be tools, computers, cars, bikes, boats, helicopters. Take a photo of the actual purchase, the receipt and serial number and save it in your online storage, using OneDrive or Dropbox as they are free and easy to set up. Then if someone decides that they want what you have more than you, you have proof of purchase and you do not have to dig around trying to find it.
This will save you time if you ever need to make an insurance claim.
